If I were going into stores, I would return Silver Screen, but I don’t feel like going through the trouble and expense of mailing it back. Frankly, it is more of a topper than a true shadow. It has an oily feeling in the pot, and it goes on almost completely sheer. This one was billed as Bright Silver, so it sounded promising. I have a number of excellent silver powder shadows, but I always wanted a silver cream shadow. On the other hand, Silver Screen was a disappointment, as you can see in the swatch above. The gold flecks are very subtle, and I didn’t even notice them at first. The opaque forest green color is rich and beautiful. It goes on easily and is completely opaque. They can be applied either with a finger or a brush.
